About Wichita Valley Landscape

Late summer in Wichita Falls is measured in heat, the August weekend when the Hotter'N Hell Hundred riders roll out under a white sky, until a norther comes down out of the Red River country overnight and the morning breaks cool. Wichita Valley Landscape tends lawns and landscapes across that turn of the year. Sun-tired grass is mowed at a height it can bear, trimmed back from fences and flowerbeds, and walks are blown clean of red dust. When that first cool front arrives and Lake Wichita glints under a scrubbed blue sky, the yards around town are tidy and able to breathe again. It is steady, unglamorous work, and it leaves a hard-weather town looking tended.
