SnowLawn's business listings come from publicly available business information and from each business's own website. Once a business claims its listing, the business manages it.

Open map data from the Overture Maps Foundation

Some listings added from October 2026 began as open map data from the Overture Maps Foundation (places release 2026-09-23.1). Before such a listing is added, SnowLawn reads the business's own website and adds the business only when the site names it, shows its state and describes lawn or snow work.

That data includes, as Overture lists its sources:

Data from Krick. Available under CDLA Permissive 2.0.
Data from RenderSEO. Available under CDLA Permissive 2.0.
Data from DAC. Available under CDLA Permissive 2.0.
Data from BrightQuery. Available under CDLA Permissive 2.0.
Data from Foursquare. Copyright 2024 Foursquare Labs, Inc. All rights reserved. Available under Apache 2.0. Foursquare data was transformed to the Overture schema. Changed: 2026-03-18.
Data from AllThePlaces. Available under CC0 1.0.

Changes SnowLawn made to this data

Each business was checked against its own website and against our existing listings. We set its town, map location, services (lawn care, snow removal) and listing address, and wrote its description ourselves. Where the business's own website shows a different phone number, we use the website's.
