Rooney Residential Services

About Rooney Residential Services

A freight horn sounds through downtown Tomball by day and by night, rolling past the restored depot and the antique shops along Main Street, and the town has never minded; it was built by the railroad and named for Thomas Ball, the congressman who helped bring it here. Rooney Residential Services keeps to the home side of that story, minding the lawns on the residential streets that spread out from the old center. Grass grows rich in Tomball's warm, damp air, and a house never looks more settled than with its front yard cut and squared. At the end of a long afternoon there is a plain contentment in a row of trim lawns leading back toward the tracks.
