Turf Specialties

About Turf Specialties

Winter barely visits Spring, just a few gray weeks and a rare frost that silvers the grass and is gone by ten, and by late February the lawns are already stirring. Turf Specialties makes that turn of the year its business, nursing along the warm-season grass that carpets yards across town. The soil here holds the winter rain, the sun comes back quickly, and turf that has been looked after returns dense and even instead of thin and patchy. Watch a cared-for lawn green up beside the Grand Parkway in March and it feels like the whole town letting out a long breath.
