Cypress Creek takes its name from the bald cypresses that still stand along its banks just south of town, and anyone in Spring can tell you how much trees shape this place: oaks arched over the streets, pines towering above the rooftops, shade that makes a Gulf Coast summer bearable. Southeast Texas Trees, LLC works up in that canopy and down on the grass beneath it, caring for trees and the lawns they cover. Hurricane season brings the hard days, when a storm off the Gulf leaves limbs across a driveway and a whole yard to set right. On the calm, blue days in between, a well-shaped tree and a lawn clear of fallen branches turn an ordinary lot back into a refuge.
