About Brookway Horticultural Services

This city began beside a spring. In 1718 Spanish settlers founded a mission and presidio near the water that still rises, in wet seasons, at San Pedro Springs Park, and San Pedro Creek carries it on through downtown. Brookway Horticultural Services wears a name that suits that origin story, providing horticultural care for the plants and lawns that grow where water once decided everything. In the cool blue minutes of a spring dawn, before traffic stirs on San Pedro Avenue, there is time to read a garden: which shrubs have gone leggy, which beds want refreshing, which corner of grass is thirsty. Plant care with that kind of patience leaves a yard looking rooted, as if it simply grew that way.
