About Amazon Lawn Co.

The name borrows the mightiest river on Earth, but San Antonio's own river is a narrow, jade-green ribbon winding below street level beneath bald cypress, close enough across to hear a conversation on the far bank. Amazon Lawn Co. mows and cares for lawns in a city shaped by that modest water. On a muggy July morning, when the air downtown already feels like a damp towel and the river barges idle at their landings, the grass in yards everywhere is pushing hard. Steady mowing keeps it from running wild, the way the river's stone walls keep the current on its path. What remains is a lawn that looks cool even when the day is not.
