Alamo Turf Works

About Alamo Turf Works

April in San Antonio comes with confetti: Fiesta sends cascarones cracking over heads in parks and backyards, and the bright paper bits settle into the grass like spring's own sprinkles. That is about when Bermuda grass shrugs off its tan winter coat and starts racing toward summer, and Alamo Turf Works meets it at the mower. Mowing and turf care keep that new growth thick and level, so the lawn feels soft underfoot when the party spills off the patio. The afternoons run warm and breezy under an enormous sky, and a fresh cut smells like the year turning over. Long after the last parade float rolls past, the turf holds the color the whole city was celebrating.
