Double R Land Management

About Double R Land Management

Rocksprings sits high on the Edwards Plateau, where limestone shows through the thin soil and the junipers and live oaks stand low against a sky that seems to go on forever. On summer evenings the bats rise in a dark ribbon from Devil's Sinkhole outside town, and the heat finally loosens its grip on the hills. Double R Land Management keeps ground in this rugged goat-and-sheep country, mowing, trimming and tending the grass that takes hold around the home places here. Out on the plateau, a mowed yard is a hard-won patch of order between the cedar breaks, and it shows. When night falls over Edwards County and the Milky Way spills across the dark, there is a plain, steady pride in ground left neat and open.
