About Lipani Designs

Evening comes slowly along the Brazos at Richmond, the river turning copper in its wide brown bend while the pecans on the bottomland hold the last of the light. Lipani Designs works in a town shaped by that water, with deep river soil and generous rain and ground that wants nothing more than to grow. Its lawn care gives that abundance a form: grass held to an even height, borders kept crisp, a yard that looks intended rather than merely mowed. Sit on a porch here at dusk and a well-kept lawn is the last thing to fade to gray. That is design in its plainest and most lasting sense.
