About F & V Contractors

Tall loblolly pines crowd the edges of Porter, and when October comes they let go of their old needles in rust-colored sheets across roofs, driveways and lawns all along FM 1314. F & V Contractors stay ahead of that slow autumn shower of needles and of the grass that goes on growing beneath it in the Gulf Coast warmth. Mowing, trimming and clearing are what hold a yard in the pines back from slipping into the woods. On an overcast morning with the scent of cut grass and resin in the air, a tidy lawn beneath those dark trunks looks like a clearing found in a forest.
