Paradise Landscapes

About Paradise Landscapes

By November the bald cypress along the Guadalupe turn a deep rust, the summer tubers have left the river, and New Braunfels fills with polka and accordion for Wurstfest. Paradise Landscapes works yards through that turn of the year, when lawns slow down, leaves gather beneath the pecans and sycamores, and beds need cutting back before the short winter. Fall in this town is brief and golden, the right moment to set a landscape in order: neat edges, raked ground, fresh plantings that can root in before the cold. Mornings turn crisp enough for a jacket, and a freshly worked yard looks sharp under that cool, clear light. Come spring, the yard wakes up already tidy, ready for the first warm weekend on the river.
