About Arlington Grass Company

Mansfield began with a grist mill that R.S. Man and Julian Feild built in the 1850s, and the town still carries their two names folded into one. Arlington Grass Company tends lawns in that place, where the brick storefronts along Main Street keep an unhurried pace in the early morning. A fresh cut before the North Texas sun gets serious leaves a yard smelling green and sweet. Edges are set square against the sidewalk, trimming takes care of mailbox posts and porch steps, and the whole lot looks like it belongs to a town with roots. Therein lies the satisfaction: careful work finished in a community that grew up around a mill.
