Busby Landscapes

About Busby Landscapes

Evenings in Leander have their own small ceremony: the commuter train eases into the end of its line, the doors open, and people walk home under a sky going apricot over the rooftops. Busby Landscapes builds the yards they come home to, with planting, bed work and mowing for the front walks, side beds and backyard corners that make a house feel like an arrival. Old Town's modest blocks and the newer neighborhoods spreading past them each ask for something different, and the work bends to fit: a tidy border here, a shade bed under a young oak there, grass kept trim and soft underfoot. In late light the details show, a clean curve where lawn meets mulch, shrubs rounded without looking fussy. That is the hour this work is really meant for, when someone sets a bag down at the door and looks back at the yard with relief.
