About Mata Turf, Inc.

St. Augustine is the grass Houston leans on, a broad-bladed, heat-loving turf that spreads by runners, reaching across a bare patch inch by inch until the gap is gone. By late May those runners are moving fast, climbing over the edges of walks and creeping into beds unless someone turns them back. Mata Turf, Inc. does turf and lawn care in Houston, keeping that vigorous growth thick where it belongs and cut clean where it ends. Late-afternoon light slanting across a dense, evenly mown lawn shows every blade standing at the same height, a living carpet that stops exactly where it should. In this humid heat, turf like that is the backbone of a Houston yard.
