About Green Century Services

A hard freeze is a rare guest in Houston, but on a few January sunrises the lawns turn silver, every blade of dormant St. Augustine stiff with frost until the sun clears the rooftops. By mid-morning it has melted into a damp tan carpet, and the city slips back into its mild winter as if nothing happened. Green Century Services does lawn care in Houston, and in midwinter that care turns to cleanup and patience: clearing debris, keeping edges neat, letting the grass rest without letting the yard go ragged. Those still weeks set up the spring green-up that comes so early on the Gulf Coast. A tidy January yard is a promise made to March.
