About Byron's Landscaping

Around four on an August afternoon, the sea breeze finally pushes inland from Galveston Bay, stirring crape myrtles that have been blooming watermelon-red all summer. Byron's Landscaping does landscaping and lawn care in Houston through these long, glaring weeks, when the heat barely lets up even after dark. Out over the coastal flats the afternoon clouds tower white and sometimes spill a quick shower, and a lawn kept at a sensible height holds its color through all of it. There is real satisfaction in wrapping up a yard just as that breeze arrives, cut grass smelling green and the beds lined out sharp. The heat will be back tomorrow, and so will the mowers.
