Much of Haltom City grew up in the decades after the Second World War, and its streets still carry orderly rows of low brick ranch houses, each with a front lawn facing the world. In April, when Bermuda shakes off its winter tan and greens up almost overnight, those lawns come alive block after block off Denton Highway. Turf Concepts is all about that grass, with mowing, edging and turf care that keep it thick and level. There is real craft in reading a lawn: where it thins under a tree, where the ground stays soggy after rain, where it wants a higher cut to ride out the coming heat. What it adds up to is a front yard that looks deliberate, a green carpet rolled out between the porch and the street.
