Grandview carries a lookout in its very name, and from the rises around this small Johnson County town the land truly does roll out wide, with pasture, fence line and stock tank running toward a horizon that glows at sundown. It is ranch and farm country, where the wind keeps the grass moving most afternoons and every change of season shows up first in the open sky. StoneForge Earthworks & Design brings ground shaping, landscape design and lawn care to that open land, working the earth so a yard sits naturally on the terrain around it. A graded slope, an evenly mown lawn and a bed given a firm border can make a home on the prairie look anchored instead of simply set down. Out where the view is the main event, the ground deserves to match the sky.
