Frontier Irrigation & Landscape

About Frontier Irrigation & Landscape

Fredericksburg's Main Street was laid out wide enough, the old story goes, to turn a wagon and a full team of oxen, a reminder that this was frontier country when the town began. Frontier Irrigation & Landscape works that same Hill Country ground today, with irrigation, landscaping and lawn care for yards where caliche, cedar and live oak set the terms. Summer afternoons here run hot and dry, a westerly wind pulling moisture from every leaf, and a landscape lasts only if its water is planned with care. Done right, the result feels native to the place: a lawn holding its color through August, plantings that look as if the hills put them there. On the edge of the old frontier, a well-watered yard is still a small and welcome settlement.
