About Clint Horticulture

Horticulture is the slow science of reading a place, and Dallas gives plenty to read. The soil runs alkaline over old chalk, so a leaf going pale between green veins is not a mystery but a message, and the clay holds water long after the surface looks parched. Clint Horticulture works from that kind of attention, with lawn and plant care rooted in what this soil actually is. Mid-February is a telling season: redbuds about to break into magenta, roses waiting on their pruning, Bermuda still asleep and straw-colored under a thin winter sun. Do the reading right in the gray weeks, and a Dallas spring comes up the way it should, even, deep-rooted and green from the porch to the street.
