Southern Green Lawns

About Southern Green Lawns

Most August afternoons in Conroe, the Gulf sends up a towering storm that drums on the roofs for half an hour and leaves the streets steaming. Southern Green Lawns keeps pace with what that rain sets loose, because grass in this heat and wet will outrun a lazy schedule in days. Out toward Lake Conroe the weekend boats head for the coves, while back in town the lawns keep surging against the humidity. A frequent cut that never shears off too much at once, string-trimmed fences and mailboxes, walks blown clear. The green in the company's name is the color of a Conroe summer; it just needs someone to keep it in line.
