About Rustic Boulder Designs LLC

Austin sits on limestone, and on the west side it hardly bothers to hide it: pale ledges break through the grass, and along the Barton Creek Greenbelt whole cliffs of the stuff glare white at noon. Rustic Boulder Designs LLC brings lawn care to yards shaped by that stone, mowing the turf that grows in the pockets between rock and root. Grass trimmed tight around a weathered boulder, with no shaggy fringe left where a mower can't follow, shows the patience a rocky lot asks for. In June, when the sun rides high and the rock throws its heat back into the air, a well-kept lawn softens the whole scene. The finished yard feels rooted in the place itself, rugged in its bones and tidy on its surface.
