Pinckard Landscape

About Pinckard Landscape

Lake Arlington spreads across the city's west side, and in June its surface throws back a hard white glare while Village Creek feeds it from the south. Herons stand motionless in the shallows, a few boats trace slow lines on the lake, and the neighborhoods around the shore settle into the deep green of early Texas summer. Pinckard Landscape spends that green season on Arlington lawns and beds, keeping grass mowed and shrubs trimmed back before July's heat bears down. Each sidewalk edge cut straight is a small courtesy to the street. There is a particular pleasure in walking a yard at the end of a June day, when the lake breeze finds it and everything sits exactly where it should.
