Durham's Tree Service

About Durham's Tree Service

Inside what used to be Cypress Gardens, the old banyan tree still spreads its roots and limbs across the ground, kept on when the park became Legoland Florida. Winter Haven has long been a town of big trees, with live oaks arching over the residential streets and cypress standing in the shallows at the lake edges. Durham's Tree Service cares for those trees, trimming limbs and keeping canopies in balance over the yards, with lawn care for the ground beneath. After a summer of storms, an October morning is the right light to see the work: a crown thinned, open space under the boughs, the grass below catching sun again. Here, a tended tree is part of the town's long shade.
