OB Sod

About OB Sod

Out at Ballast Point the pier reaches into the bay, and on a June afternoon the anglers along its rail watch the first tall clouds of the rainy season stack up over the water. That season suits new sod: warm ground, long days and showers that come almost by the clock to water it in. OB Sod lays sod and handles lawn care in Tampa, turning bare ground into a finished lawn in the span of one job. The rolls go down tight, seams pressed together like pages of a closed book, and within weeks the roots knit into the soil beneath. Look back from across the road afterward and the street seems a shade greener.
