Modern Grounds

About Modern Grounds

Armature Works, the old brick streetcar barn in Tampa Heights, now opens onto Water Works Park, where kids race through the splash pad on a March evening and the lawns are laid out in simple geometry. It is the city at its most current without forgetting where it came from, and Modern Grounds carries a similar spirit into the lawns and beds it keeps. The work is lawn care and landscape upkeep with an eye for order: tidy turf, uncluttered beds, edges that keep the shapes honest. Spring arrives fast here and the grass wakes all at once, so a yard kept trim from the start holds its form through the months ahead. What results is outdoor space that feels calm and up to date, a fitting frame for life in this town.
