About Island Coast Landscapes, Inc.

Evenings in Punta Gorda belong to the Harborwalk, where people stroll along Charlotte Harbor past Gilchrist Park as the sun sinks toward the water in shades of tangerine and rose. Island Coast Landscapes, Inc. keeps the kind of yards that sit behind that view, from the historic streets downtown to the canal homes of Punta Gorda Isles, where sailboats rest at their docks. Harbor air is soft and salty, the summer rains come hard, and bougainvillea and palms grow with a will of their own, so the work is a constant, gentle shaping: turf cut low and uniform, beds weeded, hedges and shrubs coaxed back into form. A property tended this way looks as relaxed and composed as the town itself. When the sun finally slips under, the lawn is the last thing still glowing.
