Before dawn on Pompano Beach's north side, the beam of the Hillsboro Inlet lighthouse still sweeps the sky while sprinkler zones click on one after another along the sleeping streets. That unseen hour is where the work of All American Sprinklers Inc shows, because a good system does its job before anyone is awake and has the lawn drinking before the sun climbs out of the Atlantic. From the cool months deep into spring the rain mostly stays away, the breeze runs salty, and the St. Augustine lawns of the neighborhood lean entirely on the heads and lines buried beneath them. Getting every zone to throw full, even coverage, with no dry corner by the mailbox and no water wasted on the street, is the craft, and grass still green when the wet season returns is the proof. Come sunrise, the drops on the blades catch the first light as if they had been placed there by hand.
