Smiley's Landscape Services

About Smiley's Landscape Services

In downtown Oviedo the chickens have the right of way, strutting across the road in the late-afternoon heat as if they own the place, which by local custom they more or less do. Long before the subdivisions, this town grew celery in the black soil toward Lake Jesup, and the ground here still wants to grow things. Smiley's Landscape Services keeps that eagerness in hand with lawn mowing, edging along curbs and walks, and trimming tight around flower beds and fences. On a spring afternoon, with shadows stretching across fresh-cut stripes, a yard here looks about as cheerful as the name.
