Orlando's great shade trees are live oaks, wide as houses and bearded with Spanish moss, and after an August squall the grass beneath them lies scattered with twigs, leaves and grey tangles of moss. WhiteOaks Landscape, a name with oak in its grain, does its lawn care in that dappled shade: clearing the storm litter, mowing turf that grows thinner under a heavy canopy, edging the walks that roots have nudged out of line. On the older streets of Colonialtown, where limbs arch clear across the pavement, that care is what keeps a yard looking like it belongs to its tree.
