Grasshoppers

About Grasshoppers

Come spring in Orlando, the big lubber grasshoppers hatch out black and yellow-striped and trundle across flower beds like tiny armored trains. It is a fitting name for a lawn business, and Grasshoppers keeps the grass those creatures love firmly in hand: regular mowing, edging along driveways, trimming around trees, fence posts and the hose bib everyone forgets. Out by Lake Underhill, where runners loop the shoreline path and the April sun is already serious, a yard cut the day before still looks cool at noon. Short turf, tidy borders, room for a game of catch. That is the whole job, and it is plenty.
