About 1 Stop Sod & Landscaping, Inc.

Most summer afternoons, a thunderhead stacks itself over the Lake Formosa neighborhood around three o'clock, empties out in one loud half hour, and rumbles off east as if nothing happened. 1 Stop Sod & Landscaping, Inc. works in the warm steam that follows, when the blades stand up glossy and the storm drains are still talking. Its trade is lawn care: mowing laid down in clean, even passes, a sidewalk edge cut true, string trimming tucked close around mailbox posts and fence corners. By the time the cicadas start up again, the yard has its shape back. In a city where the rainy season makes grass grow almost while you watch, that is a satisfying kind of order to bring home.
