About Cottage Gardens Inc

Newberry sits in the farm country west of Gainesville, a town of pastures, hay fields and old live oaks hung with Spanish moss, with limestone lying just beneath the sand. Each spring it throws a watermelon festival, and each winter a few hard frosts remind everyone that north central Florida keeps a real winter, if a short one. Cottage Gardens Inc brings garden and lawn care to Newberry, tending lawns and planting beds through warm months and cool. There is a cottage-garden joy in it: turf trimmed close around a bed of blooms, borders kept, the whole yard looking lived-in and loved. On a still October evening, with the light going gold over the fields, it is the kind of yard that makes a porch worth sitting on.
