Zuniga's Lawn Maintenance

About Zuniga's Lawn Maintenance

In north Lakeland, around Lake Gibson, sandhill cranes stroll across front yards as if they hold the deed, rattling their bugle calls over the rooftops. Zuniga's Lawn Maintenance shares those lawns with them, working through the short, mild afternoons of December when growth slows and every detail shows. With less grass to fight, the work turns to refinement: a level cut, edges trimmed tight along the curb, stray leaves swept from the corners. The cranes barely step aside for the mower, and the crew simply works around them. By sundown the yard is neat enough to satisfy the most particular visitor on two long legs.
