About To the Drop Irrigation, LLC

Up on the Lake Wales Ridge, the carillon at Bok Tower sends its bells out over the orange groves, and in blossom time the air is so thick with citrus you can nearly taste it. To the Drop Irrigation, LLC looks after lawn watering in the town below, where the ridge's ancient dune sand lets water slip away almost as soon as it lands. The name says it plainly: every drop counted, every sprinkler head aimed true. On the hottest afternoons, a tuned system is what keeps a lawn lush instead of straw-colored. A cool green yard near the shore of Lake Wailes, glowing as the sun drops, is what it all comes down to.
