Yard Life

About Yard Life

Late February and March are when Gainesville turns pink: azaleas burst open under the shade trees of the Duckpond neighborhood, and the live oaks drop last year's leaves in a rustling yellow shower as the new ones push through. It is a messy, lovely few weeks, and just the season when yards could use a hand. Yard Life does lawn and yard care throughout Gainesville, clearing the leaf drop, mowing the first flush of spring growth and trimming shrubs back into shape. The name says it well — a yard is meant to be lived in, with room for a hammock, a dog and an evening on the steps. Keeping that space tidy and welcoming is work worth doing.
