Mister Landscaper

About Mister Landscaper

In March, the citrus groves around Dundee break into bloom, and the scent of orange blossom drifts over the hills so thickly it seems to settle into porches and lawns all over town. Mister Landscaper does lawn care and landscaping in this small Polk County town, where sandy hills rise higher than most of Florida and clear lakes sit cupped between them. Spring evenings here run long and soft, the sun sinking orange behind the grove rows while the air cools just enough for a walk. A new-mown yard with neat edges and shaped borders is the right frame for all that blossom — orderly ground beneath a sweet, wild air. Mister Landscaper sets that frame for the yards of Dundee.
