About Florida Lawn Masters

In the 1870s, Frederick deBary built a winter hunting lodge near the St. Johns River, and DeBary Hall still stands in the town that took his name. Florida Lawn Masters does lawn care there today, where spring shows up early, azaleas flush pink by March, and grass greens up fast after the dry months. A yard mowed to a uniform height, its curb edge sliced clean and the mailbox neatly trimmed around, carries a little of that old estate's poise — open, orderly and easy on the eye. All the while the St. Johns keeps sliding north, as it always has, on its slow way to the sea. Beside it, the lawns of DeBary keep a green rhythm of their own.
