About Joseph Golia Services

North Stamford is a different city from the downtown towers: rock ledges, hardwood forest and long driveways climbing off High Ridge and Long Ridge roads. When a winter storm comes through overnight, those driveways are all that stand between a household and the morning run down to the Merritt Parkway. Joseph Golia Services clears the snow from Stamford drives and walkways, so the way out is open when the alarm goes off. In spring the work turns to lawn care, mowing and tidying yards once the snowbanks shrink back into the woods. The hush of a plowed drive under the porch light, banks pushed back square, is a fine way to start a January day.
