About Tuliptree Site Design Inc

The tulip tree grows tall and arrow-straight and opens its green-and-orange flowers in June, so high in the crown that most people walk right under them without noticing. It makes a fitting namesake for a firm that looks at a site whole. Tuliptree Site Design Inc works in Norwalk, where the Norwalk River widens into the harbor beside the Maritime Aquarium and oyster boats still head out past the islands at first light. A site here might be a narrow lot in South Norwalk or a sloped yard above the water, and each gets a plan fitted to its own ground, followed by lawn care that lets the design grow in as drawn. The payoff is a property that makes sense from the curb to the back fence.
