About Pro Landscaping & Design

Before first light on a January morning, fog rises off the Connecticut River where it bends past Middletown, and the steel arch of the Arrigoni Bridge is only a shadow over the water. That is when Pro Landscaping & Design is out clearing snow, pushing driveways and walks open so the day can start on Main Street and up the hill toward Wesleyan. Come April the plow gives way to the mower, and the days fill with cutting lawns, edging walks and laying out beds and plantings for homes across the city. Middletown sits on a river that ices along its banks in winter and runs high every spring, and its yards ask for steady attention in the cold months and the warm ones alike. A cleared drive in the gray of a winter morning, a crisp edge on a June afternoon: there is pride in each.
