Scarlett's Landscape

About Scarlett's Landscape

On a spring evening in east Ventura, the sun slides toward the coast and lights the barrancas gold, while lemon groves out toward Saticoy breathe their sweetness into the dusk. Scarlett's Landscape does landscaping and lawn care in Ventura, a city that runs from beach blocks to this inland edge of open hillside and orchard. Picnickers linger under the trees at Arroyo Verde Park as the light fades, and back home the grass waits for its next cut and the planters for a tidy-up. In this light a well-tended yard glows the way the hills do, warm right out to its edges.
