Good Earth Landscape Co

About Good Earth Landscape Co

After the first real winter rain, the hills behind Ventura turn green almost overnight, and the Two Trees on their ridge stand out against a sky scrubbed clean. Good Earth Landscape Co works the soil of this coastal town, landscaping, planting and caring for lawns while the season is soft and the ground gives easily under a spade. Below the hills, the bells of Mission San Buenaventura carry over the downtown rooftops, and the ocean lies pewter and calm beyond the shore. Winter is planting time here, when roots can settle before the dry months, and a yard put right in January carries itself into summer. The name fits the work: good earth, turned and tended, under a ridge gone green with rain.
