About Alpine Smith, Inc.

Summer reaches the south shore of Lake Tahoe late and slips away early, so every green week up here is worth tending well. Alpine Smith, Inc. looks after lawns in South Lake Tahoe through that short, bright window, mowing, trimming and edging yards that sit among Jeffrey pines forever shedding their needles. The mountain sun lands hard at this altitude, and Mount Tallac keeps watch from across the water while the mower makes its passes. When the Upper Truckee runs high with June snowmelt, the grass hurries to catch up, and a crisp line where turf meets granite feels like a small summit reached.
