About Garden Pros

Autumn in Santa Ana arrives on the wind that shares the city's name, warm and dry out of the canyons, rattling palm fronds and flinging leaves into every yard in town. Garden Pros keeps yards here in shape, and after a gusty night that means a thorough cleanup of whatever blew in, followed by a fresh mow and trim. Along Santiago Creek the air goes so clear that Saddleback stands sharp-edged on the eastern horizon. A lawn cut on a morning like that looks especially fine, every blade standing at attention and the sidewalk swept bare. When the wind finally lays down, the yard looks as if the gusts never touched it.
