Always Greener

About Always Greener

October in North Park can feel like a second summer: the Santa Ana winds swing around to blow hot and dry from the east, the sky goes a hard, clean blue, and lawns on the bungalow streets off 30th Street start to brown at the tips. Lawn care is Always Greener's trade, and the name says plainly what the work is after. That means regular mowing, sharp edging along the sidewalk, and the kind of attention that keeps a front yard lush while the wind does its best to scorch it. There is real pleasure in grass that stays cool underfoot while the neighborhood palms rattle overhead. When the wind finally turns and the ocean air slips back over the hill, the lawn is still there, still green, ready for the mild months ahead.
