The Growing Company

About The Growing Company

March in Sacramento arrives like a held breath let go. Redbuds flare magenta, flowering street trees shake petals onto parked cars, and the neighborhoods of North Sacramento brighten almost by the day. The Growing Company carries the season right in its name, with lawn care made for the moment when everything starts to grow at once. The year's first mowings bring the grass down to one height, edges are reset along the walks, and the first weeds along the borders are cut back early. Watching a lawn thicken and deepen in color under that spring sun is the reward of the work. In a valley this fertile, growth is never the problem; guiding it is.
