Mitchell Landscape

About Mitchell Landscape

The fog keeps a schedule in Petaluma. Late on a summer afternoon the wind finds the Petaluma Gap, and a cool gray sheet slides in from the coast and pulls itself over the rooftops by dinnertime. Mitchell Landscape tends lawns and yards in that rhythm, where noon can feel like July and evening like October. Grass here gets a gift much of California never sees, a nightly drink of mist, and it answers a regular mow with thick, even growth. What lingers is the finish: the stripe of a fresh cut, a bed line sharp as a pencil stroke, the whole yard easing into the evening gray looking cared for.
