About Jolee Horne Landscape Design

On an October afternoon in Professorville, the brown-shingle houses catch a low, honeyed light that seems made for front gardens. Jolee Horne Landscape Design brings a designer's eye to Palo Alto yards like these, along with the lawn care that keeps a plan looking the way it was drawn. Autumn here arrives gently — no hard freeze, only shorter days and the first rain gathering somewhere out over the Pacific — so a lawn can be set right before winter rather than rescued after it. There is genuine pride in a path that curves exactly where feet want to go, and in grass trimmed tight against an old porch step. Each finished yard becomes a well-made answer to the street it sits on.
